I've seen people porting DAZ assets successfully in Blender, but I cannot say if it always works of course. What I have seen is that a person specialized in animations goes really fast setting up scenes in Blender starting from (some?) DAZ assets. And even if it takes more effort, it would not detract from DPC's workflow, so I don't get what's your reasoning. I was talking about DPC hiring a pro to make animations, that's another person working in parallel to him. To be clear: I would NEVER EVER suggest that DPC should use Blender, that would be a total disaster for us, it will prolong development time for months. Blender is really hard to learn. DPC must use DAZ and continue with robots making sex, that's all we'll get and I'm fine with it. The "hiring someone scenario" is a total fantasy that will never happen of course.Creating animations in any other software would take longer than creating animations in DAZ. There is still no working bridge for transferring models from DAZ to Blender. Not all textures are displayed correctly and so you often have to manually edit them in nodes.
6 days ago:Hi, anybody has an update about the new episode?
The special announcement was that the Steam and GOG pages for season 3 were up with new preview pictures and a short teaser. The status update is one day earlier this week, as a special announcement is tomorrow.
I've worked on art this week and completed five scenes of varied length. And I'm currently posing animations for the last lewd scene of episode 11.
Everything is going well. The animation queue count is 62, and a couple of hundred static renders are rendering now, too.
At this moment, I'm up to a total of 6630 static renders for episode 11. We'll see how much higher it gets with the remaining scenes. My gut feeling says it will end up around 7000—it could be lower or higher, but it should be in the vicinity. I'll have a tentative animation count for the episode soon after finishing the lewd scene.
Art is the primary focus now, so there's not a lot more for me to communicate in this week's update.
I've also spent some time with preparations for tomorrow.
I hope you will join me on Patreon or Discord for tomorrow's special announcement, 16:00 CET / 09:00 CST. If you can't, you can always catch up on the news when it suits you.
Love

I had to do similar tests for the exam to get into the military, but that was only to determine which terrible job to assign me to. Like if I was smart enough to count bullets in the supply room or they should just make me pump gas at the service station. These are supposed to be first-year college classes and you should be past the baby blocks and tiddlywinks. The English classes should be made up of actual literature and composition while the math classes should be at least dealing with trigonometry and calculus. Don't get me started on the rudderless meandering small group discussions in the Gender Studies class. Burgermaster & Royce is a deplorable diploma mill. The math ones were the standard IQ tests and logic tests, and at least here in Sweden you need to learn them to do the required test to get into a university. But sure, like much we learn in school, they don't have much practice IRL, it's more about training your brain to get better at logic.
Imagine if you had to read a few chapters of a book and answer questions about it after, to progress in this game. And having to do actual trigonometry and calculus.I had to do similar tests for the exam to get into the military, but that was only to determine which terrible job to assign me to. Don't. Give. The. Man. Ideas!!!Imagine if you had to read a few chapters of a book and answer questions about it after, to progress in this game. And having to do actual trigonometry and calculus.
I agree about the Gender Studies class, as funny as it can be, could also have been more interesting. It could have been a way to determine part of the MC's character.
I feel the same as you (or almost) about mini-games. They (or some of them) create a good immersion. The problem is, by the 5th~10th run (everyone has their limit; I think mine was around that) you can't stand them anymore. Also, this is about those games that mix into the story. Those games that you do on the cell just to get money are fun for a while, but they tend to get boring even earlier than others. Also, whether you like 'em or not, I think they break immersion. For instance, picture the scene: you're crashing the preppies party and, lo-and-behold, you stop to play Brawler and the puzzle game to make some money. It makes no sense, right? I wish there could be a middle-way: 1) play only the immersive games and skip the ones just for money; 2) have some persistent variable that allows you to skip the immersive games once you've beat 'em if you want to.
My 50 cents to DPC improve his game (or to some modder implement 'em).
I agree, there should be a way to turn off some of the mini-games, not just all of them. And a way to do it during a playthrough, not just when starting.I feel the same as you (or almost) about mini-games. They (or some of them) create a good immersion. hey, completely fine. i never intended to change your opinion. i just wanted make a statement that by disliking the ending i sure as hell didn't subliminally complimented his writing.I respectfully disagree. Different opinions, they're a bitch.
Anyhow, this is off topic. I disliked the ending, because he wrote the characters and story well. That is what is called my opinion. Like it or not.
People can like the early 2000's internet IQ test minigames that DPC can't stop flexing, sure that's taste albeit a shit one. But anyone who defends those DPC's minigames is definitely missing a chromosome. It depends imo
Management games and something like the brawler are fine(ish) and can indeed add something to the story.
But anything puzzle-like or the english, math or new tests are entirely useless, people who like to play these kind of minigames/quiz/puzzles can do this all over online or whereever, why do they have to be in an avn, when development times suck already in this genre anyway?![]()
